Toddler only wants to sleep on floor?

My son just turned two years old and we switched him to a toddler bed a few months ago. He was doing really well until recently. Every time I put him to bed, an hour later I find him on the floor and have to move him back. Does anyone else have this problem? I don't know how to keep him from sleeping there. I don't want him to be all sore the next day.

Well, it may not be the answer that you want, but I’d just let him sleep on the floor. If he likes sleeping there then he must find it comfortable and most toddler bodies are waaayyy more resilient than ours so I wouldn’t worry about being sore.

Mine decided to sleep on the changing table for about a week! It stopped as suddenly as it started so maybe it was just a weird phase?

Thank you for your answers! He keeps doing it so I guess I will let him just sleep there 🤷‍♀️
