Traveling potty chair!?

Hi everyone, so my daughter is 21 months and is fully potty trained while at home during awake hours. When she’s at school she’s doing well but is required to wear a diaper so she has more accidents. My plan is to start now with trying to get her trained when we’re not at home or at school. She will almost always tell me she has to use the bathroom but the one time I took her to a public bathroom she emphatically shouted, “NO! No pee pee there!” And tried to run away. I can’t say I blame her, ha. Sooo I’ve decided to get her a travel potty that I can keep in my car. I’m thinking of something that can take a potty chair liner bag because I feel like my car has already taken a beating with all the food and drinks she’s thrown everywhere so I’d like to avoid pee and poop spills as well. Also something that has similar(ish) height of a regular potty. She’s not super picky but I am sure I’ll get some pushback the first time she tries it. For comparison, right now she pees and poops regularly on her summer brand potty that looks like a miniature toilet. Any suggestions?? Also any tips that have worked for you?? And I do have the oh crap book but I never read it 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🙄. So far though, her potty training has all come from her. I didn’t expect to start this soon but she initiated it herself. I’m Just trying to assist.

We are not there yet but the potette plus and oxo get a lot of good reviews for parents. Also audiobooks are my choice now since I can’t really sit and read any more. Good luck.

My little one is 21 months and learning to potty she loves it, probably to have another excuse to extend bed time haha. But I got a portable potty seat it comes with a little pull string bag and you unfold it and set it on the toilet and you can buy linens. You can take and use when you’re out and about. We have the Oxo folding potty. It's great because you can either use it with a bag, or flip the legs out into wings and put it on top of a public toilet.

Cool, thanks Sam!! And yes...the bedtime extension is key, lol! Last night, as I was laying her down, I thought she said, “pee pee?” And I asked and it turns out she was saying baby (as in she wanted me to sing Hush Little Baby to her). So I sang it and that was just long enough to get the gears moving and by the end of the song she sits up and says, “pee pee!! Pee pee” 🙄. So I take her and after we’re done and heading back to bed again she says, “baby mama? Sing baby?” Lolol wow. That took all of 10 seconds for her to find a way to extend the whole routine😬

I saw on Facebook someone said to put a diaper in the potty to absorb the mess when you’re on the go

The oxo travel potty 1,000%. My husband and I have it in our cars and pop it in the stroller when we go to the park or beach
