Unbearable Spitting!

How do I curb my girls urge to spit and raspberry during meal times? I’m doing so much laundry at this point because I’m wearing more food than they’re eating!

Ok this may sound like a joke but it could actually work... Maybe try a rain poncho? Also baby led weaning is awesome and will definitely cut down on puree spit.

Lulu, I might have to try the poncho because I’m at my wits end on the clothing side! They eat plenty of solids and they even try and pick off my plate but if I give them a spoon they make a bigger mess.

Sounds like my little one! I also got a dog :) that little pupper earns her keep and gets snacks! It's a win win win! Good luck!

You will look back at wearing a poncho for meal times and laugh! And you can always rib your girls about it lol

Give them the spoon and let them get messy. The only way they learn is if they practice. Then when they get messy you can show them how to clean themselves. My daughter is 2 now, her father hated it when I let her get messy. Now when her face & hands are dirty she asks for a napkin to clean herself. If you out then give her the spoon but guide their hand.
