Some days he literally will not eat ANYTHING and on those days my heart breaks 😩 so mommas with picky babies please share your secrets on what they will eat so that I might have some new options to try for him ❤️

My son likes freeze dried fruit. He does not like regular strawberries, pineapple, apple, or mango. But he will eat the freeze dried version of these fruit all day long! Could possibly be a texture thing.

I almost positive it is a texture thing for him

Cook/prepare a food all the diffferent ways ; bake, broil, grill -- show him one food isnt just one way. Open his eyes to possibilities.

Eggs, tofu, rice balls ( you can hide anything you want in it) , peas, zucchini/banana/white eggs pancakes! We live on those! 🙌🏻

My daughter lives on chicken nuggets and peanut butter ... and eggs. She usually will eat eggs in the morning. We let her eat a lot of those baby food pouches because I feels like it’s the only way she gets fruits and veggies

I was an extreme case as a child, my parents were encouraged to take me to doctors and specialists bc i ate so little. They thought I was failure to thrive. But aside from eating very little and being on the small side, i was meeting all developmental milestones etc. I know as a mom now the strain/ guilt and emotion of trying to do everything the right and best way, but if he's doing fine everywhere else except eating as much as you expect him, maybe take a minute to reevaluate. My daughter hasn't been on the growth charts either and I was pressured to start supplementing with pediasure/ carnation breakfast etc... .but really she's just small like I was. If you're interested in a pediatricians perspective look into My Child Won't Eat by Carlos Gonzalez. I'll be honest, i didn't finish the whole book but what I did read was very reassuring.

You know what Brittany you are so right maybe I am worrying where it’s not needed because he is thriving EVERYWHERE else I gues the thought of him not eating just breaks my heart I am going to try some of everyone’s suggestions I did the green smoothie and he loved it I’ll just continue what I’ve been by offering different foods

Purees in resealable pouches. You can hide any veggie with fruit. Even black beans and avocado

He os so adorable my five year old is a very picky eater too. Sometimes she will eat all day and sometimes she will eat once a day. We just let her snack all day that is what the doctor suggested.

The doctor told me that kids will not starve themselves so she told me just to let them go and they will eat when they get hungry

Try making tiny bite sized pancakes. Mash up 1 banana and 2 eggs- that's it! Lots of protein and vitamins. You can put them in a sandwich bag for a snack when you're on the go

My son was like that and I didn’t realize he was allergic to eggs. A lot of foods he was avoiding contained egg. He had a mild stomach upset and stuffy nose after eating eggs. You might want to get him allergy tested. Or it could be a phase and green smoothies would help.
