Weening off the bottle help!

My son is almost 2 and he recently started waking up in the middle of the nights again, he wakes up most nights around 2 or 2:30 wanting to crawl into my bed and wanting another bottle. I need help to get him off the bottle and to stay alseep. I have tried letting him just cry it out but after 3 hours of him screaming I figured it was getting into bad parenting zone I've tried water in his bottle and still he just screams. I am exhausted and stressed any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

I know this sounds horrible but I told my daughter there are no more bottles cuz the wolf ate them all. So I started it last week. And the first two days were rough for me because I had to wait till she was very very very tired. I started by saying there is no milk and in the morning we will buy more. She didn’t go for it. She’s scared of the wolf so I said he ate them all. Woke up the first two nights. Probably out of habit. She been sleep through the night so far. She didn’t do that when she was still on the bottle.

My almost 2 year old is the same... we have a crib he sleeps in, but he always wakes up in the middle of the night wanting a bottle and to sleep with us. He throws up from crying too, so the best we’ve been able to do, is train him to go down by himself. But when he wakes in the middle of the night, which he always does, we don’t know what else to do. Tired of it but tired of cleaning his vomit too, when we try to ignore him.
