What time do you put your 2.5 year old to bed if they choose not to nap? Losing my mind here.

Between 7 and 8pm. Typically, our almost 3 year old is exhausted and ready to go to bed by then herself

When my son skips nap we put him in bed by 7. When he does nap by 8. I think you’ll know.... sometimes my son is just done with life by 6:45 so we lay him down then.

Oh that or we go for a drive and get in a little power nap if there’s still enough time in the day

Depends on when they wake up.. sometimes my daughter doesnt wake up until noon and doesnt have a nap I put her down around 830 9pm If she wakes up sooner then she gets a quick nap maybe and hr tops and I wake her up to be in bed by 10pm

If my girls don’t nap or only have cat nap in the car I put them down between 5:15-6, depending on how well they are handling it. Earlier is always better bc they won’t get to the point of no return. They won’t wake up until about 6:30-7 am. If I put them down too late, like 7, it’s not a pleasant bedtime routine to say it nicely and they don’t sleep well. I did this for my son bc I read “Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child”, and people thought I was nuts, but it works.

K, how old are your kids? I am a firm believer of the earlier the better.
