When can I start feeding my baby solids or cereal?

Depends on what your pediatrician says. We started our daughter at 4 months per our pedis recommendation, the solids they get at first (purées, oatmeal, and baby cereal) are mostly for practice since they’re still getting all the nutrients and fats they need from breast milk or formula. and some parents choose to wait until 6+ months and do baby led weaning. Just depends on the baby and the parents!

Depends on what you’re comfortable with/think baby is ready for and what you’re doctor recommends at the 4 mo apt. Our doctor had us start tasting at 4 months! He never really liked the cereal so we pretty much went right to veggies/fruits. But, we did start very slow.

4 months, but skip the cereal. Instead, go for eggs, tofu, banana, sweet potato, avocado, etc.
