When did you pack your go time bag?

I’m about 30 weeks with my second and just can’t remember packing ahead with my first!

It was about 4am & I had just finished wrapping Christmas presents & randomly had the thought, ‘Hmmm. I’m about 2months away from my due date I should start getting some things together...’ Roughly 3 hours later I had my lil’ boy in the back of an ambulance on the side of the road to the hospital. I guess it’s never to early to start packing!

Pack now the essentials and add or subtract as time passes.

I think at like 35 weeks I had just the essentials and from then on I’d add random things lol

Lol, um about 30 mins before we got in the car since the little dude decided to show up 5 weeks early. ;) I'd definitely do the majority of the packing again by 30 weeks. We were super unprepared.

I packed really early. I think it was before week 30, just because I wanted to be ready. I arrived at the hospital and realized I didn't need ANY of what I had packed, except my toothbrush. The hospital provided everything, but for some reason they still had a long list online of things to take along... 🙄

I packed around 37 weeks. My son came a week later. I packed clothes and stuff that could sit in the bag that I didn’t need on a daily basis. Then I wrote a list out of “last minute” items to throw into the bag for my husband to grab. Husband swore that he wouldn’t panic but he did... and the list was really helpful to him.

I’m 38 weeks and I just packed mine yesterday! Feels relieving to have that off my shoulders though!

Lmao as soon as I started feeling contractions, my fiance ran around the apartment freaking out and packing our bag, while I just laid on the bed calm (but in pain), telling him what to pack and to relax 😂😂😂

Now is good because you never know... also I wish I had packed enough for the 3 days I was there. I ended up having an emergency c-section and was there longer than expected

I packed around 37-38 weeks. I packed two separate bags. A small bag that I took with me to L&D when it was time. And a larger duffel bag that I left in the car and my husband brought up to postpartum after the delivery. In my small bag I had a nursing tank top, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, chapstick, phone charger. In my larger bag a couple of nursing tank top, Depends for postpartum bleeding, PJ pants, robe, toiletries,a change of clothes for the baby to go home and a change of clothes for me. Wish you luck with the rest of your pregnancy and delivery!

I don't know about you ladies, but if you're wondering about when to start packing, your instinct might be telling you it's time!
