Whole milk

When did you start giving your baby whole milk? My LO is 11 months. He’ll be 12 months on 10/31. I was thinking of starting to give home an ounce is whole milk a day to start getting him used to the flavor.

I believe a week before my LO turned 12 months I started mixing milk with his formula. A little at first and then gradually increasing the amount until there was no more formula.

My son is 11 Months I started giving him an ounce 3 weeks ago with breakfast in addition to his normal formula intake. Starting tomorrow I will be taking out 1 entire formula baba and giving him a milk baba instead and going to swap babas from now until his birthday

I did a slow transition from 11 months old with my son. 1 oz cow milk, the rest of the bottle BM, then after a few days, 2 oz cow milk and the rest BM and after a few days 3 oz, and so on. He was up to full bottles of cow milk by 12 months old. Loves milk to this day! I did all his bottles all day with the cow milk. So he could really get used to it.

I started transitioning at 11 months: 60% formula, 40% whole milk and every other day I did less formula and more milk
