Yes or no for New Shoe wearers

I have ordered Stride Rite shoes already but I keep looking at these. But not sure if they are good for my baby’s foot. Would you recommend these? Or just stick to my Stride Rite.

We never did that special shoe thing for our son. We just got what shoes fit him and what shoes we wanted him in. My son has cowboy boots, high top sneakers, converse, and a pair of high top leather western shoes, and snow boots. He had soft bottom shoes for the first bit, and then we switched him to moccasins for a bit. I think honestly giving their feet the movement to grow as they need, is better than giving them weird conformed shoes... just my opinion.

I didn’t know there was shoe rules. My son has only ever worn vans 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was very careful with my toddlers feet as a baby. Socks only. He started walking & it was flexible non heavy shoes only. Now he’s got a solid grip on the ground, almost two years & chucks are our go to. He’s had many kinds but the chucks are the best ones for his little chubby feet yet. My oldest as a toddler & until now never did good with them.

Not so much a rule behind shoes. But older people do believe that Stride Rite is better for a baby’s foot especially when they are learning to walk and what not.

I try to look up shoes here: https://www.apma.org/Patients/content.cfm?ItemNumber=1108 Also if the show isn’t listed there, try following their recommendations of have flexible soles and shoes that are wide enough for your child’s foot.
