LOVE this playground. Incorporates natural elements into the playground. Lots (for nyc) of open space for unstructured play too. Great way for city kids to get in a bit of nature play but in a contained area (hopefully) free of dog waste (as a dog owner, trust me there us no inch of grass outside the playgrounds year hasn't been peed/pooped on by dogs). The gate is (most likely still) broke... More

Art Farm is a little pricey for us but check Yipit/Groupon/living social type sites as they often offer good deals. The mid-day open play is a lot of bang for your buck if your kid doesn't need a nap then (12-3 I believe but check website). Play room, art activities, and a petting zoo!

Love this library. My son loves the separate book drop (shaped like an elephant) in the children's section. Really helps part with favorite books. Lots of great storytimes and events for little ones. Helpful staff. We basically live there.

Absolutely worth the membership if your kid is over 12 months. So much to do here (both structured and unstructured) could go every day.

Suggested donation. If times are hard, don't feel bad giving a dollar or less if you can't afford more. Give more next time you can! Lots of room for little ones to walk around, storytimes and play things in the Discovery room.
