Go. Just go. This is an awesome place for kids. We went with a 2.5 and 5 year old and they both had a blast. Bring a lunch and snacks since there weren’t any food options when we were there.

Day in the Presidio

I want to explore the Presidio on Veteran’s Day with a 2.5 yo and 5 yo. Was hoping to do a hike and explore the area. If you were us, what would you explore and how would you spend the day? I know there are a couple of forest schools in the area so any activities we can do that would involve learning more about the ecosystem would be particularly interesting. Thanks in advance!

Great park and a place where the community in San Carlos gathers. Music on Friday evenings in the summer and plenty of other great events throughout the year.

This place is epic. My 2.5 year old loves watching the planes take off and land from the viewing platform outside. He also loves sitting in the 747 outside; such a fun experience. The volunteers and staff really care about passing on their love for flying to kids. Highly highly highly recommend!

This is a great place for parents night out and for summer /after-school camps. Can’t wait for our son to turn 5 so we can take advantage of all they have to offer.

Our son loves the train and play house in the back. This store is a key part of the parenting community in town and it’s an absolute gem. Love love it!

Great place for an after-hike meal. I love that the kids can run around in the beautiful garden while the adults can have a good conversation over brunch and coffee.

Absolutely beautiful trails and very informative signage about the fauna that’s surrounding you. Don’t forget to go to Alice’s for brunch after a good hike.
