It is great for date night!! Excellent cocktails and yummy food - although interesting since it is experimenting with Indian + Californian flavors (like edmame and meatballs in Indian curry), it's nothing like I had tasted before. It was fun experimenting with something new!
How do you keep your kids in touch with their culture? I would consider moving back home (India) when we have kids because its what my parents did and it's given me perspective I wouldn't have had otherwise if I had spent both my childhood and adulthood in the same country. I don't want to project that the same would be true for future kid(s) though if we were to move - any advice/... More
This was our first exposure to Armenian food and we absolutely loved it!! Highly recommend the honey cake and beef & mushroom Khinkalis. The Khinkalis take a while to make so don't hesitate to order all at once in the beginning. We weren't with kids so can't comment on how that experience will be, but can attest to the great food, ambience and friendly service!
Had so much fun, can't wait to bring my nephew here one day! Trying to make him a Harry Potter and minions fan by getting him cute merchandise :). Highly recommend getting express pass to skip lines, its so worth it. The rides aren't intense but still fun, perfect for a nice family getaway!
I was really nervous about personal training - I couldn't even do ten sit-ups, how was I going to last a full hour? Jae and Natalie are amazing and know how to push you according to your level - I'm now comfortably able to do weights with lunges and squats just after a few classes!! I used to suffer from back issues and now they are completely gone! I recommend doing the couples or 2-... More
Best Indian food I've had in a while! The food is from coastal Kerala - so it's suuuper spicy but delicious. The wait is long though so I'd recommend getting a reservation or take out. It has changing tables and high chairs, space is a bit tight but I saw them make space for a stroller. Enjoy!
https://cupofjo.com/2015/10/parenting-in-sweden/ Currently visiting Stockholm and really impressed with how family friendly the city is, and there are so many local families with young children everywhere!! I was curious about it and found the above article interesting - the gender equality bonus where they pay you more if both spouses split the 480 days of parental leave evenly and government... More
Had lunch here today with the family - my nephew just enjoyed sitting in his highchair by the window and checking out people walking on the street 😂. Their staff is super friendly. They also have combos that help when you eat in groups and their Horchata coffee was delicious!
Had a great experience here with Dr Ulloa and their equipment seemed top-notch. They were also very thorough, so the appointment was longer than what I had expected. They see kids of all ages and give them stickers, toys and toothbrushes, but said they don't specialize in pediatric dentistry.
Excellent Spanish tapas, cocktails and dessert. It reminded us about our trip to Spain last summer so we were pretty pleased to find a place we really liked. Perfect for date night! They do have highchairs, but it really seemed more like a bar at night. They do have a brunch menu though so I'd assume it's less crowded/bar-like then. Also disclaimer that it's a bit on the pricey si... More
Delicious food, wine and cocktails (Pisco sour)! Their triple chocolate churros are amazing, but their Horchata Pana Cotta was disappointing 😐. We were here with a seven month old, spacing was definitely tight. However, this was on Valentine's day so it's probably fine on regular days.
Best Indian food in San Francisco imo, although beware that it is SPICY. The space is small and usually has a wait - perhaps not ideal for toddlers. They are on GrubHub, Yelp delivery and other apps so take out/delivery from here might be faster. Also they are closed on Mondays.
