We checked out this new playground today. It has a lot of unique features which make it great. My kids loved the tot area. My older loved the cement slide. Lots is places to sit and great views of the lake.
We were in search of sun and we found this really great park! Huge grass area, playground, carousel and best of all, a train! They also have a little snack bar with hotdogs burgers, ice cream and sno cones. We went on Memorial Day weekend and it didn't feel crowded.
This is one of my favorite beaches to take the kids. Park and be on the sand in minutes. I love that I don't have to carry all my beach paraphernalia very far. Restrooms are close too. Need a nacho supreme or a cold drink? No problem, you are at the worlds best Taco Bell! Kick back and enjoy.

Here's a really good salad recipe. My kid actually ate some of the spinach last night! We left out the bacon and eggs and it was still delicious. I also reduced the sugar a little and added a bit more vinegar. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/48852/springtime-spinach-salad/?internalSource=staff%20pick&referringId=963&referringContentType=recipe%20hub&clickId=cardslot%204
Someone recommended this book. It's pretty great and it's helping with our nearly 3 year old. https://www.amazon.com/Talk-Little-Kids-Will-Listen/dp/XXX-XXXX
This year, we're going to try this! It looks much more fun than the regular way. http://www.craftymorning.com/shaving-cream-dyed-easter-eggs/
Starting to think about what to dress the kids in for my sister's wedding in July. Trying not to go too crazy but it's so much fun. I realize I haven't dressed them up, like ever. Matching would be easy but I'm sitting here sketching out coordinating outfits. I've really lost it.
We had a make-your-own banana swirl sundae party in the yard today. The kids loved choosing their toppings. We had all these options: fresh fruit, toasted coconut, granola, cereal, whipped cream, cherries and sprinkles. We will definitely do this again, it was an easy and cheap party idea. Next time I must get better pictures.
