I need help with my 3.5 year old. About 6 months ago he regressed with potty training and now has no interest in it at all. I’ve tried the naked method, the 3 day method, the “oh crap” method, about 8 different kinds of potties, sticker board offering treats, even tried having him go outside in our backyard, but no dice. I get him on the potty quite often and he sits there, but only goes maybe ... More

My oldest currently goes to two schools...one on T & Th and another on W. The W one was his previous daycare and since his new preschool only had 2 days avail, I thought it would be good to have him stay one day there. He loves his old school and always asks for his teacher. Says how much fun he has there. Now the new school he says "scares him" and cries (very hard and long) ever... More

Looking to get my 3 year old a bunk bed (won't access the top for a while) because we're moving his younger brother into the crib within the next month. I like the look of ones at Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn, but hoping to get some recs from mamas currently using one with their kiddos. TIA!

In Cabo with my family and in love with Baja Baby Gear (http://www.bajababygear.com). Renting a baby swing, bottle warmer, changing table/bath tub, and a huge bin of indoor/outdoor toys (age appropriate for both kids). Really making it a lot easier for me. They also deliver/pick up at your hotel. Highly recommend!
Question...would you feel comfortable leaving your 4 month old with a sitter (as well as with his 3 year old brother and a 4 year old friend) while vacationing in Cabo? I do have plans to have a sitter help me 3 days by the pool, as well as watch the kiddos one night when we eat at the hotel. I just don't feel good about leaving him at the hotel for hours when we head into the city for di... More
Heading to Cabo on Saturday and looking for kid friendly things to do. Will have a 4 year old, 3 year old, 1 year old and 4 month old. We're staying at an all inclusive, but plan to hang in the city, at least, 2 days. Also have sitters already on call for the whole week. 😀 Any must sees??
Took the family to Six Flags yesterday. First visit for us and I have mixed feelings. A few good things...lots of fun carnival games where it's super easy to win a prize and a bunch of kiddos rides and a large splash area/playground. Bunch of coasters for big kids and the lines didn't seem too bad (30 min wait or less). Not so good...SUPER hot and only a few places have fans (no AC)... More
This is a great place to check out if you want a higher quality meal with little hassle at Fisherman's Wharf. Also pretty kid friendly...great kid menu, crayon & coloring page, changing table and high chairs. The large wine/drink menu doesn't hurt either. 🙂 The view is a nice bonus too.
