So, there are times where my son is still hungry after a full, bigger container of baby food. He is almost 11 months old, and I am trying to slow down how many bottles he is getting in a day. Is it okay to give him more than one container during a feeding?
For the past 2-3 months, my now 9 month old son has been sick.. He has had cold like symptoms and two ear infections... I don't know if the medication for the ear infections has helped at all... Last night he spiked a fever of 100.0 F... I gave him Tylenol and it went down, but went back up this morning... I don't know what else to do... It seems like nothing I do is helping him...
Ever since my second dose of the Depo shot, I have been hungry pretty much all the time. I try to not eat right away when I'm hungry if I have just eaten a meal, but sometimes I can't help it and feel like I need to eat something. Even after I've had a big meal, I seem to be hungry within about an hour after eating. Anyone else experience this?? This is my second time being on the s... More
Ever since he learned how to crawl and pull himself up to stand/walk along furniture, my son hates being put in anything that doesn't allow him to move around/get into things. We let him crawl in his bedroom, but eventually he gets mad because he knows that all of our stuff is in the living room. I can't get anything done until late at night when I get home because if I put him in his s... More
I know it's a little soon... My son is 9 months old... But I've already been thinking about wanting another baby. I don't think I would go through with actually trying for another one right now or anytime soon, but I was just wondering when all of you decided to have another? Like what is the age gap between? If you had children less than a year apart, how did you handle it? What ar... More
My 8 month old has had diarrhea since Wednesday and was throwing up Thirsday and Friday. I took him to the ER yesterday(Friday) and all they did was prescribe Zofran for the puking, told me to give him pedialyte, and sent us home... I've tried everything I can think of and nothing is working. He seemed to be getting better and just recently he pooped four times in about 20 minutes.. It'... More
So not only does my son have another tooth getting ready to poke through, but he also has a cold. He is so congested and nothing we are doing for him is helping. We've tried suctioning his nose (it helps for a little bit and then he's congested again), we've tried a chest rub, and the humidifier. Any other suggestions?? He's almost 8 months old.
Please help. My 7 month old still does not sleep through the night. He did for about 2-2.5 months, but after he was 4-4.5 months old and started teething, he stopped. Well his first tooth has finally poked through and is about halfway out, but he still doesn't sleep through the night and is sleeping a lot during the day the past couple of days. He does sleep a little better at night, only w... More
So I am on WIC. At my last appointment with them they told me to start transitioning my son to a sippy cup. My son is 6 months old, going on 7 months on the 19th. They gave me a hard plastic one with no stopper or anything. He makes a huge mess and does not seem very interested in actually putting it in his mouth. I went out and bought one with a rubber mouth piece on it instead to try and make... More
Hello everyone. So my son is finally cutting his first tooth. The very tip of it finally poked through the gums yesterday. My question is, how long will it take for the tooth to fully emerge?? He still seems to have some pain with it trying to fully come in and I just wanna know how much longer this will last for him.
I'm just so exhausted that I keep getting frustrated.... I'm starting the CIO method because I don't know what else to do, but with being so exhausted lately between work and not sleeping as much as I should, I'm getting really irritable and frustrated.... I would never do anything to harm my child, but me getting frustrated and irritated isn't any better... I feel like a te... More
Please help. My 6 month old used to sleep through the night. Started at 2 months old and lasted until he was about 4.5-5 months old and now he is teething. We've tried everything. We give him a nighttime bubble bath and occasionally add nighttime shampoo and body wash. We make sure he is well fed and is dry and he still wakes up 3-5 times a night. I'm a daycare teacher and I tend to be ... More
