We’ve loved having our son enrolled here. The teachers (“guias”) are kind, generous, nurturing, and focused on our children. They truly take the idea of language in action seriously, with cultural as well as linguistic education. The parents and children have all been so inviting, from the minute we arrived as new transplants to the city.

When grandparents ask what gift to give, ask for this instead of more junk to clutter up your tiny SF apartment. The academy is awesome especially if you're a member and only want to pop in for an hour or so and don't feel like you need to make an entire day of it.

Great playground, lots to see and run around and do. There's a nearby bathroom past the carousel, up the stairs.

Skip the subpar hipster cue on divis with the 40 minute wait for the real deal. They've got high chairs and big bathrooms and a friendly staff that loves kids. There's beer and wine for mom and dad. There only bummer is there is literally a TV on every wall.

The playground here is brand new and top notch. There's no sandbox (apparently there city is passing them out) but the Astroturf is nice and bouncy and lots of equipment to monkey around on. Heads up: the swing set isn't really separated from the rest of the equipment so it's easy for kids to run into a swinging line of fire.

One of the best parks in the city, though it can get a bit chilly when the wind blows. Luke the rest of Alamo Square, it's sadly closed until early 2017 for renovations.
