If you’re local it’s worth it to get the Audubon experience membership. We were gifted the membership and our first stop was the aquarium. It was a lot of fun and out 3 year old loved it! If you live on the West Bank taking the Algiers Point ferry is so easy and fast, plus free street parking, unlike in nola where parking is $20+. There aren’t a ton of exhibits but a great way to spend the ... More
Love the Children’s Castle play place by the food court. It’s free but times and space is limited. They do a and time slot wrist band system, which works very well in my opinion. They have 2-4 attendants in the area at all times and cool hand washing stations.
Lots of cool things for young kids. Toddler area is great and they have a scheduled toddler times every month. However the staff were not supervising any of the areas, which I found odd. Nobody around cleaning up or organizing things but maybe it’s because we were there in a slow day.
The wait time is miserable, patients aren't seen based on when you checked in but based one when your appointment time is and apparently they are always way behind. The waiting room, while colorful and clean feels like a sardine can. The doctor was nice, she didn't bother to introduce herself but she asked the normal questions. This appointment was for a well child visit but because m... More
Fun for the whole family. Great toddler section, with a little water slide, sprinklers, and water features to play in. There’s a larger kids section with a lager water slide and things to climb on. Lazy river, tall slides, rock wall, & water surf are a few of the awesome hinges to do here! Fairly cheap tickets for entry for the area and free locker rooms and changing stations located by t... Great new splash pad that is open and free to the public. Great for little or people not interested in the at times crowed pool. Has outdoor restrooms including family restrooms. Tables, chairs and large umbrellas for a little comfort and concessions while the pool is open.
Flounders is great for families with kids of all ages. They have two volleyball courts, a nice big playscape for smaller kids, and open outdoor seating. Backs right up to the water so we can come in right off the beach or go down after lunch or dinner. We loved this place on a vacation to Pensacola. We came back three different times!
Great children’s section! Plenty of space with different areas for all the age groups. Quite places to study, other spaces for little to play, plus a cute gerbil named Story. They also have open story times several times a month. Bathrooms right off the kids sections with a changing table.
The children’s room is straight back past the checkout as you enter the library. They have a great children’s room. Complete with a large LEGO building corner, play store and doctors office, and a big open section for blocks and puzzle play or for littles to crawl around. They also have an aquarium to watch the fish and stacks of books. They offer several story times and events throughout the y... More
The toddler playscape is amazing! From the sound room to the sand discovery pit, to the big leaves you can climb and venture through to the water feature you can play in. This is my absolute favorite part of the museum. They even have a section for babies learning to crawl. It’s very loud but awesome if you have a toddler!
Really cute little park on the mains street of Wilkinson next to the post office. It has upgraded toddler swings, jungle gym, and merry go round, as well as equipment for older kids. A basketball court, and nice big open field to play football. It also has a little history and flags. As well as a covered picnic area.
