You can also use our childcare job posting template, to help you write your own job postings. Once you have created your job postings, you can post your open positions on Winnie by upgrading to Winnie Pro. This will allow you to market your program to job seekers and prospective families all in the same place. You can even use your Winnie Pro page as your website.

Childcare job descriptions

Another important part of the hiring process is creating job descriptions. A quality job description will help make sure everyone is on the same page and starts out the working relationship on a positive note. A job description also outlines the qualifications for the position, including any experience or education you prefer candidates to have.

You can use our childcare job descriptions template, which allows you to edit the bullet points or leave them as they are!

Interview questions

Once you have a list of qualified candidates, it's time to schedule some interviews. You may want to start off with phone screenings, to save time and narrow down your list even further. Be sure to ask lots of open-ended questions to get a feel for whether a candidate will be a good fit for your program.

Here's a printable with some questions to get you started that you can use to take notes during the interview.
