The Action Day Difference
Since its inception in 1968, the school has been steadfast in its commitment to a holistic approach to learning. "Our founders recognized the tremendous amount of learning that takes place over the course of a child’s developmental years," Cathy shares. They aimed to foster not just academic growth, but emotional, physical, and social growth as well.
Their secret? A "semi-structured program" that offers specific goals for every child, every day. Cathy elaborates, "The children are 'led to' not 'made to' take part in these activities. We believe this balance allows for specific growth and individual freedom."
Yet, what truly sets Action Day Schools apart is its people. "The most important factor in any school situation are the adults," Cathy points out. At Action Day, they take immense pride in having adults who genuinely care about children.
Each day's objective is clear: by the end, every child should leave feeling more accomplished and better about themselves than when they arrived.

Partnership with Winnie
When asked about why they chose to partner with Winnie, Cathy lists several reasons, from increasing enrollment and managing waitlists to getting their program in front of more families.
What they offer
Action Day Schools envisions every child walking out of their doors as a confident individual, eager to embrace the world. "Our program provides an atmosphere to enrich your children’s learning as well as to help them explore new, exciting learning experiences," Cathy emphasizes.
The goal? For every child to recognize their capabilities, expand their knowledge, and develop positive self-expression.
