Let’s take a walk down memory lane. When we started Winnie back in 2016, we knew that this new generation of millennial parents was fundamentally different from those that came before. The vast majority of millennial families don’t have a stay-at-home parent even though the demands of parenthood are higher than ever .
Today we're excited to share that we launched our comprehensive database of daycares and preschools throughout Florida. We've added over 11,000 licensed providers and parents can filter them by availability, age, and hours of care as well as share their experiences and read reviews from other parents.
Today we're excited to announce that we've expanded our marketplace of daycares and preschools to Chicago and all of Illinois. We've added over 9,200 Illinois providers to the platform with detailed insights such as licensing status, quality ratings, parent reviews, photos, and more.
We brought over 5,000 daycares & preschools online and teamed up with WeeCare to create more where they’re needed the most

From the beginning, Winnie’s mission has been to equip parents with the information they need to be successful. In the majority of American households, all of the adults work at least part-time, which means the majority of American households have no full-time stay-at-home caregiver. One of the biggest issues parents face is finding high-quality child care.
As I talked to other parents I realized I wasn’t alone. It turns out it’s not easy to find this kind of information. You have to talk to other parents to learn about in the in-home daycare down the street, or post your nanny job on the internet and hope for the best. It seemed crazy to me that even with all our advancements in technology, parents today don’t have better tools to navigate finding care for their most precious possessions. We founded Winnie because we want to change that.
Winnie makes it easy to find the right program for your child. Just enter your zip code to see nearby providers on a map, compare prices, view photos, see parent reviews & more.
