How to clean dirt from under toddler’s fingernails

It seems no matter how many times we wash her hands we just can’t get all that dirt out! And yes, we bathe her regularly :) but every day after school or the park, or even just eating it looks like she hasn’t been bathed in days. How do you guys do it??

I keep them as short as safely possible. Nail trims every week, sometimes twice a week! A soft bristled nail brush may also help.

I also cut my toddler's nails once a week to avoid that problem. But I've used a cheap toothbrush on my own nails after using my hands to peel shrimps or crabs or things like that, it works pretty well.

I use a soft nail brush after her nails have soaked in soapy water for a bit. Its the only way I have been able to get dirt out of her toenails since about 4 months old
