Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. Our preschool program is designed to encourage our three-year-olds to develop respect and appreciation for other cultures through our global curriculum, including weekly Spanish classes taught by an experienced bilingual preschool teacher. Children learn language skills through stories, music, and games in an immersive, interactive environment, with a learning program tailored to preschoolers’ unique needs.

Four's

Young children are permeable learners, meaning they have the capability to learn many concepts at once. At four years old, our students in the preschool learning program, led by experienced preschool teachers, are getting ready to incorporate all that they are learning at the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional levels in order to make that important transition to kindergarten. Our focus on higher-level thinking within a safe and nurturing learning environment, where students learn to approach problems and attempt new challenges with an “I Can” attitude, means that they can carry these foundational skills with them to kindergarten and beyond.

In line with the latest research that all children grow, develop, and learn at their own pace, our curriculum is built to challenge without creating frustration, thus providing success that instills the lifelong love for learning. Our teachers work very hard to prepare the children for Kindergarten through early-reading activities, developing early math skills, practicing team work skills, participating in science experiments, and working on penmanship.

Three's

Pre-Kindergarten Prep Academy: Preschool

Our literacy-rich environment prepares your child for their first day of school. Classrooms are divided into learning centers, encouraging your child to learn new skills through self-selected, hands-on activities.

Georgia Pre-K

Georgia's Pre-K Program is a lottery funded educational program for Georgia's four year olds to prepare children for Kindergarten. Children four years of age on September 1 of the current school year who are Georgia residents are eligible to attend Georgia's Pre-K Program during this school year.

Pre-Primary

In this class, your child will learn the beginnings of Montessori lessons and work cycles, which include basic motor coordination, independence, and language development. Rather than a classroom, this is a nurturing social community where young children experience and learn to participate in a cooperative group. During their time in this class, we will gauge their interest and introduce the concept of using the potty, and help them develop other skills of independence that will prepare them to eventually transition to the older, Primary.

Primary Classroom

Children in this classroom learn to work both individually and in groups. Individual work is encouraged in the areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Language development, Geography, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Art, Music, and Mathematic activities. Children must be independent with using the toilet before enrolling in the Primary class (we do not have diaper changing stations in our classroom). Our class participates in family style dining, which means that teachers encourage the children to serve themselves at the table. When you enter our classroom, look to your left! You will find my lesson plans, snack menu, daily schedule, and a dry erase board displaying information about your child’s day!
