Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Before and After School Care

We offer before- and after-school care at most of our child care centers. As a part of our before-school program, children may be dropped off in the morning and most locations provide breakfast before transporting or transitioning them to school or one of our onsite school-age or state Pre-K programs. Our after-school programs also offer homework support, learning opportunities, and social skills development for children. We offer various activities across age ranges from structured exploration of different cultures and destinations, to supervised play and games, to more independent play and homework support for the older students. Our after-school program provides homework support and fosters character development through group activities and additional playtime.

Before School Care Program

Tutoring in Reading

At Sylvan Learning, your child will experience significant growth in reading. We’ve perfected a highly personal approach, tailoring lessons to your child’s specific needs, from phonics and vocabulary to fluency (reading out loud) and reading comprehension.

After School Care

We transport to/from Lone Oak, Oakland, Shoally Creek, Hendrix, and High Point. We offer a program in which we pick up your children from school and provide them with snacks, help with homework, and offer opportunities to play with other kids in the playground. This service is offered Mon-Fri and we will also be sure to pick them up early on early dismissal days.

Summer Camp

How do champ kids take their summer breaks? What else than to do something worthwhile? But who could better initiate such worthwhile activities when you, yourself, are too filled with your tasks at work? Kid City prepares summer fun games and team-building activities that accommodate the building of values in every child.
