Florida VPK

For Four- and Five-Year-Olds Who Reside in Florida. The Florida Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Education Program or Florida VPK is a FREE Pre-K program for four and five-year-olds who reside in Florida. Florida VPK gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. By developing the skills children need to become strong readers and students at an early age, children are more likely to be successful in school. Florida VPK classrooms offer high-quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curricula, manageable class sizes, and qualified teachers. The Florida VPK school-year program includes 540 hours of instructional time and begins in August. Registration starts in March and goes through July. To register, parents must bring their registration form to secure a spot and prove Florida residency. Children must be age four on or before September 1 and going to K-5 the following year. We are a longtime provider of Florida’s VPK program. Our school was purposely designed and our classrooms thoughtfully curated with materials and learning centers that meet the needs of children 5 and under. Plus, before- and after-care is education-based, offering more essential skill development. We’re only closed for 9 holidays per year. Join us during school breaks and all summer. And get peace of mind with live streaming video and healthy, delicious food included. Note: Child must be age 4 by Sept. 1.

Prekindergarten Program

Final year of preschool designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Program puts a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. Daily routine includes: reading, writing, math, science, Spanish instruction, movement, art, and music. We are a contracted provider with Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK).
