Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Military Childcare Program

Math Program (3-5)

The Kumon Math Program will start developing your child’s very first math skills, including counting, writing numbers, mental calculations and even addition and subtraction.

Reading Program (6-12)

A love of reading begins begins with a strong foundation developed at Kumon. The worksheets can propel your child on a lifelong reading journey, where improved vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and interpretation become an asset throughout school, and beyond.

Pre-K

Our VPK/Pre-K program is is centered on interdisciplinary projects that create engaging learning experiences through hands on, open- ended explorations. This state-funded program is provided at no cost to families, with optional extended hours of care available for an additional cost beyond the standard VPK hours. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys. Our infant daycare and child care program supports early development through sensory learning. Babies explore sights, sounds, and textures in a nurturing daycare setting. This preschool foundation helps your child grow, adapt, and build awareness of their environment.

Toddler Care - Discovering Me

Our Discovering Me program is developed through our Life Essentials® curriculum to grow and reinforce each toddler’s individual needs. Our educators form strong, caring relationships with your toddler and guide them through sensory-based learning experiences that encourage discovery.

Our Wobbler and Toddler programs provide a nurturing, stimulating environment where children develop essential motor, language, social, and emotional skills through hands-on activities and guided exploration.

Infants at The Learning Cottage know they are safe & loved as they develop social, cognitive, & motor skills in a home-like setting.

Toddlers

Our Toddlers eagerly enter their room with smiles, toddling to their teachers and peers. Daily activities include American Sign Language, music, outdoor experiences, motor and muscle activities, sensorial experiences, and more. Toddlers follow a monthly umbrella theme and weekly sub-themes that enhance their academic skills while nurturing their social-emotional development.

Infant Classroom

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need, as well as opportunities to begin learning about the world around them. Our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, celebrates your baby’s natural curiosity within the classroom environment and models how to explore safely.
