Early Preschool

It’s never too early to start preparing your child to be ready for school, and that’s why our parents—and their children—love our Early Preschool classroom. As a stepping stone to Preschool, our Early Preschool program has a unique, indicator-based curriculum, Learn as We Grow™, designed to address the individual learning needs of 30- to 42-month-old children. Preschoolers arrive at their rooms ready for a full day of fun and learning. Our preschool environment is arranged so that children can engage in a series of structured and unstructured activities. Head Start is a free classroom program for 3- and 4-year-olds from low-income families in Saratoga County. Our classrooms are state-licensed daycare centers. Our teachers have New York State certification. When a child is ready to start school, they have a better chance of succeeding. That means a better chance of graduating high school and a better chance of going to college or trade school. So, Head Start kids grow up to be anything they want to be! Head Start helps kids build social skills, healthy emotions, speaking and reading skills, math and science knowledge, a relationship with their family’s culture and language, and a smooth transition to kindergarten.
