Our teachers follow a detailed curriculum that exceeds state educational requirements, bringing together the fundamentals of education into theme-based lessons that impact the whole child. While educating your child, we reinforce important life skills such as communication, kindness, respect, honesty and sharing. Through the Lightbridge Foundation, children also learn the importance of helping others in need.

In this framework of order, the child grows at their own pace and rhythm. At the same time, they find the joys of learning and developing social and intellectual discipline. Our Honors & Kindergarten program sets children up for success in the elementary grades and beyond. This is done by drawing on their concrete base to develop conceptual thinking. Students in our Honors Program are not yet school-age but are ready for more rigorous academics in a full-day program and thrive in a Montessori mixed-age classroom.

First Grade

Our Elementary program seeks to develop higher-order thinking and emphasize conceptual understanding through interdisciplinary learning. With a certified Montessori Elementary teacher and small class sizes, children are challenged to develop critical thought, enhance oral & presentation skills and synthesize information across various subject areas in a personalized and supportive learning environment.

Kindergarten in the Montessori Children’s House is a pivotal year where learning comes to life. As the leaders in their mixed-age classroom, children deepen their academic understanding and grow in independence, confidence, and collaboration. With guidance from trained Montessori teachers, students choose their work and engage in hands-on materials across subjects like math, geography, language, and practical life. Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation.
