School Age Program

Our before & after school program is offered for children ages 5-12 on regular school days. We also offer full-day programs for all out of school days and camps during school breaks, including Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Camp.

Flexible Care

With Flexi-Pass, families can purchase 5 full days of prepaid care to use one at a time or all at once. There are no registration fees, no ongoing tuition, and no long-term commitment — just trusted care at a lower per-day cost.

Each day at our summer camp is a thrilling new adventure. Campers dive into hands-on activities, from science exploration to creative and performing arts, sports, and games. Our camp leaders set a positive example and create a warm, friendly place where every child feels welcome and supported. Drop-In Care Program

Private Kindergarten

As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Youth Zone (School Age)

The Youth Zone before- and after-school program offers a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can connect with friends through diverse activities. Each day includes options like homework support, creative projects, sports, and special interest clubs, promoting fun and socialization. Breakfast, snacks, and safe transportation to and from school are provided. Youth Zone also offers full-day programs on many school closure days, ensuring children enjoy meaningful and supervised experiences even when school is not in session.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp at Skipwith Academy makes it easy for parents to keep their routines by providing an exciting, safe, activity-driven place for their kids when school is out. Our summer camp program begins at the conclusion of the school year and continues through June, July, and August. Outdoor activities are a mainstay of the program, including swimming!
