Infants

A baby’s first year is a time of extraordinary growth—physically, emotionally, and cognitively. Our infant classrooms are intentionally designed as peaceful, home‑like spaces filled with developmentally appropriate materials that invite exploration without over-stimulation. Soft textures, gentle lighting, and open floor areas allow infants to move freely and safely as they begin to roll, crawl, reach, and sit. Every element of the environment supports comfort, security, and confidence—laying the groundwork for lifelong learning.

Toddlers

Toddlers learn best by doing—and they are always on the move. At Heartworks, we create environments that encourage children to run, climb, stack, build, balance, and explore, giving them the freedom to learn through active discovery. Through open‑ended play, sensory experiences, and hands‑on materials, toddlers develop early problem‑solving skills, creativity, and imagination. At the same time, daily opportunities for movement support both gross motor development—such as jumping and climbing—and fine motor growth through drawing, manipulating tools, and building with intention.
