Toddlers

A typical day for TLE® toddlers is filled with, stimulating, age-appropriate activities and materials. Our early childhood development toddler curriculum focuses on eye-hand coordination, motor development and problem solving.

Twaddlers

Our curriculum helps twaddlers explore, and it nurtures their increasing need to communicate. By this point in their early childhood development, twaddlers have expanded their language skills, and our curriculum helps to enhance their ability to communicate verbally.

Older Toddlers

Older toddlers are still on a journey of independence and learning about the world. In our Young Detectives Classroom, children fill their days with a mix of educational activities and peer interaction. Older toddlers in the Young Detectives Classroom will exhibit more independence by completing self-care routines on their own (blowing nose, putting on coat and shoes, feeding themselves, etc.). They will continue to work on communication skills, increasing vocabulary and using words to express themselves. To help lift ease the workload for families, we’re partnering with the Cuties Care program to provide diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers while they attend our school. For $10 a week, Cuties Care covers the cost of diapers and wipes. We know parents have a million things to manage—we’re happy to cross diapers off the list. Prices are subject to change.

Toddlers

Investigators (12 months to 24 months): Your toddler is meant to explore, take apart, put together, and question practically everything. Children in our Investigators classrooms learn through developmentally appropriate play in an environment where they can thrive. Toddlers in the Investigators Classroom will exercise their natural curiosity while being exposed to hands-on activities and be encouraged to interact with peers to start building social skills. To help lift ease the workload for families, we’re partnering with the Cuties Care program to provide diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers while they attend our school. In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Early Preschool

Our Early Preschool teachers partner with you to help your child learn important independent life skills like potty training and hand washing while paying close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.

Toddler Daycare Program

The Big Blue House Daycare

We’ll be spending time reading stories, doing crafts, playing outside, and learning through everyday moments. I also focus on teaching important values like kindness, respect, honesty, and compassion - things I believe matter just as much as academics. Our listed tuition is $175 to $225 per week.

Toddler Daycare

Toddlers are on the go, exploring and learning new things throughout each day. Classrooms are kid-size in design, allowing children to do more things independently, building their self-confidence. Photos of the children’s families cover the walls of the classroom, creating a sense of community. Daily routine includes: outdoor play, circle time, dance & movement, reading, art, music, and free play.

Discovery Preschool

Preschool program designed to create a strong academic and social foundation. Teachers introduce math, literacy, and science. Activities also include music, movement, art, pretend play, and group games. Children become an active part of their classroom community.

Our infant daycare program in Clarkston begins with playtime including belly time, music, exploration, and sensory stimulation that supports early development. We follow each baby’s individual feeding and nap schedule to create a nurturing and consistent environment.
