We understand toddlers are curious, busy, and full of personality. Our Toddler program channels that energy into meaningful learning. Through our Links to Learning curriculum, children explore colors, sizes, early science, and vocabulary while building social-emotional skills and confidence through play and gentle routines. Toddlers begin to participate in a consistent daily schedule, giving them a sense of structure and security. Teachers foster curiosity and independence by encouraging exploration, offering choices, and celebrating successes.

Babies in the Discovery Classrooms will have individual schedules to meet their needs and take part in activities that encourage and develop fine and gross motor skills. To help lift ease the workload for families, we’re partnering with the Cuties Care program to provide diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers while they attend our school. For $10 a week, Cuties Care covers the cost of diapers and wipes. We know parents have a million things to manage—we’re happy to cross diapers off the list. Prices are subject to change.

Children in our Investigators classrooms learn through developmentally appropriate play in an environment where they can thrive. Lightbridge Academy’s infant program is an ideal, developmentally appropriate environment for little ones as they learn to move, pull up, roll over, and eventually crawl. Our infant curriculum creates a solid foundation for your little one’s future growth and development. By creating strong bonds, learning through play and stimulating their five senses, even our youngest students are encouraged to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. Primary caregivers introduce a theme-based curriculum, which is enhanced with enrichment programs such as Singing Sprouts, Spanish Sprouts and Signing Sprouts.

Toddlers

Toddlers are quickly learning so much about the world around them, developing faster than almost any other age group. They are all about speed — learning to sing, talk and run all at once. Lightbridge Academy’s Toddler Program is designed to make the most of every one of their fast-paced milestones. Our curriculum specifically addresses toddlers’ rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with the older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. When they display interest or signs of emerging skills, we can encourage them to move to the next challenge.
