3 Year Olds

Children in the Class of the 3s continue to express themselves with ever greater depth and precision. PK-4

Complex thinking for four-year-olds is visible and allows them to give shape to their ideas. We gleefully support this by ensuring children are able to utilize technology, various graphic mediums, written communication and more to further encourage their development and growth. Your four-year-old likely enjoys new experiences and collaborating with peers. Our educators take advantage of this by encouraging experiences that allow for an exchange of ideas in the classroom. Intermediates

Our Intermediate program, for children ages 3-4, provides children with many opportunities to explore learning centers and engage in authentic writing experiences. Your child will be introduced to literacy concepts and expand upon mathematical thinking and scientific inquiry through hands-on materials and exploration. Children will also begin to practice social-emotional skills and independently navigate their classroom community.

Pre-K

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten as they learn letter-sound relationships and sight-word recognition, and gain an understanding that writing is used to express thoughts and ideas. Children explore concrete mathematical concepts, such as simple addition and subtraction. Our character education program helps develop the strong social and emotional skills that ensure a successful transition to kindergarten.

Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. Primary

Learning revolves around tangible experiences. Practical life exercises like sorting, pouring, or washing dishes are introduced. Children also use concrete materials such as movable alphabets, cubes, cylinders, and other objects to learn. They learn to work together, with each others’ best interests in mind. This broad-based program allows children to explore a range of subjects and ideas: science and nature, music and movement, sensorial experiences, cooking and nutrition, cultural awareness, history; geography, language arts, and mathematics.
