Our Preschool Program prepares children for kindergarten through Spanish immersion, thematic curriculum and STEAM learning. We focus on early academics, problem-solving, social skills, independence, and creativity through hands-on exploration.

Infants

Our Infant Program offers a loving and stimulating environment designed for babies to explore through Spanish immersion, sensory play, music, and movement. We support each child’s individual routine, developmental milestones, and early language foundation.

Preschool 3 yr - 4 yr 11 mo

Our Preschool Program offers a rich Spanish-immersion experience with Creative Curriculum, hands-on learning, cultural activities, social-emotional development, and early academic readiness. Children enjoy nutritious onsite meals, structured routines, and joyful learning every day.

Infant Care 6 w – 18 mo

Our loving, Spanish-immersion Infant Program provides a warm, nurturing Spanish speaking environment with personalized care, sensory exploration, and daily routines that support each child’s development. Fresh, healthy meals are prepared onsite in our commercial kitchen daily.

Mandala Montessori

Mandala Montessori is a small community preschool with two convenient locations in south Minneapolis. We provide care for children 33 months-5 years old, with traditional Montessori and Spanish Bilingual options.

Kinderberry Hill’s preschool program nurtures curiosity and growing independence through a dynamic, emergent curriculum guided by each child’s interests. A low 1:8 teacher-child ratio and intimate class size allow teachers to foster deep connections, support emotional development, and encourage friendships that help children thrive. In inviting classroom environments enriched with loose parts and open-ended materials, preschoolers explore art, science, math, language, and more. Teachers intentionally guide learning through play, conversation, and discovery, supporting each child’s development across academic, social, and self-help domains as they prepare for pre-kindergarten.

Pre-Kindergarten

Kinderberry Hill’s pre-kindergarten program is designed to help children enter kindergarten with confidence and readiness. With a 1:9 ratio and a class size of 18, pre-k students receive personalized attention while developing executive functioning, communication, and problem-solving skills in a close-knit environment. Classrooms provide rich opportunities for academic and personal growth through areas dedicated to math, literacy, science, technology, and dramatic play. With the addition of off-site field trips, increased family involvement, and a strong focus on kindergarten readiness, this final year empowers children to soar in both independence and school preparedness.

Our Children's House program provides authentic Montessori education, combining preschool and kindergarten in a nurturing environment. Children learn at their own pace through hands-on exploration and teacher-guided lessons, developing independence, concentration, and self-discipline. Our Montessori-trained teachers prepare thoughtful learning environments that honor each child's natural curiosity and cultural background. The program balances child-initiated activities with circle time for songs, discussions, and community building, fostering both academic growth and social connection.
