Toddlers are curious by nature and are enthusiastic explorers. We recognize that they learn best through play. We play in the classroom, in the large-muscle room, on the playground, and more! We provide opportunities to explore books, a variety of sensory experiences, free art, and LOTS of music!

Two's

The Gardner School’s two-year-old program supports rapid physical, cognitive, and social growth through play and exploration. Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. At Woodpark, we begin more structured learning in the Toddler room. We incorporate exciting play opportunities for our toddlers alongside beginning Montessori education.
