Homework Assistance

We know that homework completion, accuracy, and understanding are of top priority for parents with children in after school care. Our tutors offer guidance and assistance with homework and have additional exercises for each child to work on based on his/her individualized plan.

Drop-In Care

Our Flex Care program allows you to purchase child care days in advance. That way, you can use them when you need them—all year long. You’ll love the reliability and flexibility, and your child will love our proven early education curriculum and fun, safe, secure environment. Prepaid cards come in five-day increments and can be bought at your school. Each is good for one full year. Once you’ve completed the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

Wondercamp

An action-packed summer for children (ages 2 to 12). Our exciting Wonder Weeks include topics and activities designed to spark curiosity and imagination. We serve healthy food, play outside daily, and take field trips too! Parents will love our app with live streaming video and photo highlights.

Kindergarten

Our Full Day Kindergarten program at Legacy is designed to prepare young learners for school and beyond by fostering a love for learning in a structured, engaging environment. With a traditional, back-to-basics curriculum, we emphasize essential skills in language, math, reading readiness, and creativity, empowering children to become confident learners. Our accelerated approach and dedicated teachers ensure students progress in key areas while having fun. Parents receive a welcome guide with resources to reinforce learning at home, helping build a strong foundation for academic growth. Legacy’s Kindergarten curriculum meets and exceeds state and local education requirements, setting children up for success in first grade. Our English Language Arts program, based on the Spalding Method’s Writing Road to Reading, integrates listening, speaking, spelling, writing, and reading to develop skilled readers and communicators. Key components include composition, oral communication, spelling, vocabulary, and literature. In math, we use enVision Math, a program that promotes deep conceptual understanding through visual models, student-centered projects, and progressive lessons. This comprehensive approach ensures that our kindergarteners are equipped with the foundational skills needed for lifelong learning and achievement.

Summer Camp

At Legacy, we believe summer should be as enriching as it is fun. That’s why at Legacy Summer, students explore, play and grow all summer long. Our hands-on, engaging activities allow for extended school year learning in a fun, activity-based environment. Students will also receive a Legacy Summer lunch bag and water bottle. Space is limited.

The program provides a mix of instructional and self-guided activities in a non-competitive atmosphere - outdoor sports, cooking projects, science activities, board games, comfortable reading spaces, and time for children to socialize and explore their interests. Homework help is available with teaching staff support.

Child Care Program

Toddlers (1-2 yrs old)

In our Toddler classrooms, learning is done through structured play and one-on-one time with the teachers. Teachers follow a theme and curriculum guide to develop weekly lesson plans with age-appropriate activities including language arts, science, math, art, music and movement, outdoor experiences

Preschool (3-4 yrs old)

Preschoolers participate in primary language arts, math, art, and science through hands-on discovery and other age-appropriate activities. This class follows the Fundations® curriculum to prepare them for the Pre-K class and later for Kindergarten.

*Children must be 4 years old on or before August 31st.* Our Pre-Kindergarten program offers a comprehensive foundation for kindergarten readiness through hands-on activities, expert teachers, and a curriculum aligned with Arizona's Early Learning Standards. With a strong focus on literacy, math, science, arts, and physical education, we emphasize age-appropriate learning and discovery. Structured, choice-driven environments in pre-K classrooms foster independence, curiosity, and a strong sense of competence, preparing children not only for kindergarten but for long-term success. Tuition fees are due weekly. Extended day after care is available for an additional fee and runs from 3:10 pm – 6:00 pm.
