3 Year Olds

Children in the Class of the 3s continue to express themselves with ever greater depth and precision. We encourage the development of these emergent literacy skills by awakening their affinity for and interest in written communication. As your three-year-old engages in conversation and exchanges knowledge and information with peers, they are immersed in a world of learning. Complex thinking for four-year-olds is visible and allows them to give shape to their ideas. Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development.
