Toddler Classroom

As toddlers are rapidly developing both physically and cognitively, the Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered, and their language and communication skills are nurtured. A lifelong love of learning starts early, and we believe in providing brand-new learners with the tools they need to be successful. In the Toddler classroom, our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, comes to life as expert teachers harness children’s natural curiosity, guiding them to explore the world around them through hands-on learning, play and asking questions. Teachers support your child's social-emotional growth while helping them develop important physical skills. Your little one will build social awareness, form meaningful connections with others and have plenty of opportunities to strengthen essential skills like persistence and independence.

Twos Classroom

In the Twos classroom, patient, caring teachers guide children through playful exploration. They help your little one navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity. Your toddler is constantly learning new things about the world around them. At The Goddard School®, our team is here to work with your little one every day as they play, learn and gain the skills they need to prepare for preschool. Our Wonder of Learning™ education program will immerse your child in literacy, science, arts and math brought together in one activity for a more holistic—and fun—approach to learning.

Infant Program

At this age, your infant is mainly learning through observation and exploration. For example, as our Infant teachers talk and sing with your child during feeding, diaper changes and playtime, your little one is beginning to understand language and conversation. Nurturing interactions like these will fill your child’s day and can be adapted and personalized to meet their individual needs.

Toddler Program

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills. Teachers also use books, toys, games and other materials to create exciting explorations into colors, shapes, science and more.

Daycare Program

Infants

For ages 6 weeks – 12 months, our infant program blends comfort with curiosity. At this stage, everything we do is designed to provide a welcoming environment and support developmental milestones, including: strong focus on tummy and story time; warm, nurturing, safe environments for building meaningful connections; fostering individual development and self-help skills; unique personalizations such as nutritional guidelines, schedules, and more. With your infant, our goal is to create an individualized program that caters to the specific needs of your child.

Toddlers

For ages 1 - 2 years old, our toddler program builds focus and friendships. Research shows that as toddlers make developmental leaps and build skills for the future, they need to spend time well focusing on exploration and discovery, music and movement, outdoor play, group time, learning centers, language focus, breakfast/lunch/snack times, story time, and rest time; support in newfound independence, language, and social skills; and a relaxed environment to foster individual development and self-help skills. With your toddler, our goal is to create an individualized program that caters to the specific needs of your child.

Infants

Our Infant program caters to children up to 18 months, emphasizing sensory exploration for their development. We know saying goodbye for the first time can be tough, so we work with your family to make the transition to child care a smooth one. Your child's routine stays intact, and they get special one-on-one time. Our Emergent curriculum focuses on language, motor skills, and sensory fun. We offer activities like sign language, and Yoga! And don't worry about meals – our kitchen serves up nutritious delights. You'll get daily updates via Kindertales app and can peek in on your child’s day through our web cameras. We've got a cozy spot for nursing moms too! Our caring team aims to make every day a great blend of home and child care.

Toddlers

At roughly 18 months to 3 years old, toddlers are mobile and eager to explore their environment. As they strive for independence, our educators create a program that supports each child’s individuality. Our team prioritizes communication skills and connection with others to support the growth of toddlers in this important stage of development. Toddlers learn best in the context of small groups, which is central to how we structure our days. With fewer distractions, children can focus and build stronger bonds with our educators and their peers. Smaller groups also enable our educators to spend quality time with the children and ensure their cues and interests are respected and responded to. Your toddler begins their day with a warm welcome from our caring staff and peers.
