Kindergarten Enrichment

The Malvern School Kindergarten Enrichment Program provides an opportunity for children to enrich their skills and interests. Teachers develop weekly plans to support your child’s academic success and provide personalized homework support. Children have the opportunity to visit with friends, participate in group games/activities, and relax after the school day. In Kindergarten Enrichment, our goal is to supplement the education your kindergartener is experiencing at school.

Our Early Preschool teachers partner with you to help your child learn important independent life skills like potty training and hand washing while paying close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.

Your preschooler is beginning to connect letters, sounds and numbers, expanding their world through reading and math. They’re building critical-thinking skills, early physical fitness and an understanding of nutrition. Our teachers support that learning and encourage your child to think in new and different ways.

Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance.

Pre-K

Your child’s school readiness is the most important thing to us and that’s the focus of our Pre-K program. Building on Preschool learning, we focus on problem solving, responsive listening, language usage, and social skills. Our Focus on Literacy™ program features in-school and at-home activities designed to improve your child’s literacy and cognition in areas such as vocabulary development and alphabet knowledge. In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. At The Goddard School®, we recognize that classrooms are made up of many unique children and teachers work to create engaging, innovative, play-based lessons with the interests and needs of every child in mind. Through the power of asking a question, your child will learn how to seek answers and advocate for themselves in the classroom. Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

For ages 3 - 4 years old, preschool learning takes shape with rewarding new challenges.  Let us help your little one take the first steps toward independence. At the preschool level, we focus on a range of independent, teacher directed, and small group activities that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery. With your preschooler child, our goal is to create an individualized program that caters to the specific needs of your child.

Pre-K

For ages 4 - 5 years old, pre-k learning takes shape with rewarding new challenges.  Let us help your little one take the first steps toward independence. At the pre-k level, we focus on a range of independent, teacher directed, and small group activities that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery. Prekindergarten Program

Final year of preschool designed to prepare children for kindergarten. Program puts a strong emphasis on literacy and language arts. Daily routine includes: reading, writing, math, science, Spanish instruction, movement, art, and music. Teachers model respect and kindness, and children learn how to resolve conflicts and build friendships. Children also learn to express themselves through writing and telling complete stories.
