Echinacea Montessori School

Echinacea opened its door in 2020 with a mission to serve children & their families in a community-centered, bilingual Montessori school in the heart of Denver. We have tiered tuition welcoming families who qualify for tuition credits from DPP, UPK & CCAP, & start our 6th school year in August '25.

Nido

Our Nido Community focuses on two basic needs of the infant: a safe, bonded relationship between adult and child, and the development of the child’s growing sense of self and independence. Nido supports children ages 8 weeks- 18 months in class sizes of 10.

Toddler

The Toddler Program offers space for the young child to naturally explore and engage within a purposefully prepared Montessori environment designed to encourage and build independence, self-identity, and enjoyment.

Toddlers & Tiny Tots

We utilize a creative curriculum along with pyramid plus strategies to keep our toddlers on track for progressive developmental goals. Spanish and Sign language is utilized in this classroom to help our toddlers develop receptive and expressive language skills.

Pre-school & Pre-K Program

Understanding mathematical concepts, linguistic, comprehensive reading and writing all are part of our push for Kindergarten readiness for all our students .Assessments are done several times a year to make sure that we are on track or accommodations are needed to help advance a child's learning.

In our Toddler program, you’ll find carefully selected equipment that our newest walkers love to climb on, crawl through and hide in while stretching their gross motor skills.
