Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

Our preschool program fosters a child-centered learning environment where play-based exploration and teacher-guided activities create a foundation for academic and social growth. Using The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, our teachers provide developmentally appropriate experiences that align with Ohio’s Early Learning Development Standards. With a focus on nine key areas—social-emotional, physical, language, cognitive, literacy, mathematics, science & technology, social studies, and the arts—our curriculum supports well-rounded development in a safe, nurturing space. Teachers encourage learning through positive reinforcement, open-ended questions, and individualized guidance to spark curiosity and problem-solving skills. Classrooms are designed with engaging interest areas such as blocks, dramatic play, art, science & discovery, music & movement, and outdoor exploration, all serving as interactive learning spaces that support developmental growth. Teachers assess progress through observations, work samples, and portfolio tracking, collaborating with families to set and review educational goals through quarterly parent conferences. "The Creative Curriculum for Preschool" makes up the main curricula in our Preschool and PreKindergarten (PreK) classrooms. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum for prekindergarten is organized into 9 areas of development. Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science & Technology, Social Studies and The Arts. We work with families to create educational goals for each child and closely monitored and update these goals quarterly through parent conferences. At this level, our goal is to develop social skills and peer relations, while building appropriate academic concepts that will ready your child for a smooth transition to Kindergarten. Building self-esteem and preparing children for the transition to Kindergarten continues to be a priority and focus of the Program.

Drop-In Care

At Childtime, our Drop-In Care program gives you the freedom to purchase child care days in advance. This allows you to use them when you need them—all year long! As a parent, you’ll appreciate the reliability and flexibility while your child enjoys our proven early education curriculum in a safe, secure, fun environment. Our prepaid cards come in five-day increments and are good for one full year. Just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.
