NC Free Pre-K

North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten is free state-funded program designed to enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-olds. Participation in NC Pre-K helps your child strengthen a variety of skills in preparation for kindergarten. Examples include pre-literacy, pre-academic, following directions, persisting at new or challenging activities, interacting with other students, and learning friendship skills. Children must be four years old by August 31st (for the upcoming school year). Families are subject to certain eligibility requirements and available classroom space.

Primary Program

A warm, joyful Montessori classroom where curiosity comes alive. Children explore math, language, and hands-on activities, building confidence, independence, and a love of learning—growing at their own pace in a caring community.

GCUMC Preschool

We offer a part-time program for children ages 18 months through 5 years old. We are a faith based program and strive to incorporate Christian principals in all that we teach and do. We have small teacher to child ratios, age appropriate hands-on learning, and a loving and caring staff.
