School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks. Back-Up Care

With Lightbridge Academy’s back-up care, parents can reserve a day here and there — or even up to weeks at a time — at your local center. Back-up child care is available at all Lightbridge Academy locations on a space-available basis for infants through school-aged children.

Kindergarten in the Montessori Children’s House is a pivotal year where learning comes to life. As the leaders in their mixed-age classroom, children deepen their academic understanding and grow in independence, confidence, and collaboration. With guidance from trained Montessori teachers, students choose their work and engage in hands-on materials across subjects like math, geography, language, and practical life. BrightPath’s School-age Program supports the development of children's emotional, social, physical and cognitive skills by referring to the five pillars of character: Respect, Trustworthiness, Honesty, Caring, and Self-Expression. It is through the promotion of these core values that children develop skills they will utilize for their entire lives. Our School-age Program provides children with a wide variety of both instructional and self-guided activities. Instructional activities may include outdoor games such as basketball, baseball, dodge-ball, and soccer, and indoor activities such as board games, cooking projects, and science activities. Our program focuses on inclusion in a non-competitive atmosphere with no requirements other than to try your best and have fun in the process!
