Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten through intentional, project-based learning in a fully Spanish-immersed environment. Children develop independence, confidence, and academic readiness.

Part Time Preschool Program

Our preschool inspires curiosity and creativity through self-directed play and hands-on learning in literacy, math, and the arts. Outdoor activities keep children active while building gross motor skills. Weekly themes mix art, music, and science for fun, meaningful exploration.

Intermediates

Our Intermediate program, for children ages 3-4, provides children with many opportunities to explore learning centers and engage in authentic writing experiences. Your child will be introduced to literacy concepts and expand upon mathematical thinking and scientific inquiry through hands-on materials and exploration. Children will also begin to practice social-emotional skills and independently navigate their classroom community.

Pre-K

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten as they learn letter-sound relationships and sight-word recognition, and gain an understanding that writing is used to express thoughts and ideas. Children explore concrete mathematical concepts, such as simple addition and subtraction. Our character education program helps develop the strong social and emotional skills that ensure a successful transition to kindergarten.

2-Year-Olds

At Ivybrook Academy, we understand that the age of two is a time of wonder and rapid growth. 3-Year-Olds

Children's House Preschool

Our Children’s House preschool and pre-K program lays a strong foundation for academic and social success by honoring each child’s natural drive to learn. In this mixed-age Montessori environment, children explore subjects like math, language, science, and geography through hands-on materials and individualized lessons. The daily routine also includes real-world activities—such as preparing snacks or watering plants - that build independence, confidence, and a sense of purpose. Part Time Preschool Program

Primary

Learning revolves around tangible experiences. Practical life exercises like sorting, pouring, or washing dishes are introduced. Children also use concrete materials such as movable alphabets, cubes, cylinders, and other objects to learn. They learn to work together, with each others’ best interests in mind. This broad-based program allows children to explore a range of subjects and ideas: science and nature, music and movement, sensorial experiences, cooking and nutrition, cultural awareness, history; geography, language arts, and mathematics.

Four's Class

Our 4’s program is a kindergarten readiness program featuring the comprehensive DIG (Develop- Inspire- Grow) Curriculum. DIG incorporates literacy, math, science, and social studies to expand cognitive and social/emotional skills in an engaging way.

Two's Class

Our 2’s program sparks curiosity through fun, themed units designed to increase vocabulary and expand cognitive skills. Children will learn important social skills like sharing and taking turns, all while getting comfortable with school routines in a playful, nurturing environment.
