Two's

At Big Blue Marble Academy, we create an environment that nurtures and embraces the high-energy attitudes of two-year-olds by giving them plenty of room to explore. Our curriculum for this age group incorporates music and movement to introduce children to new skills in fun and memorable ways, build their confidence, and help strengthen their love of learning. A typical day can include songs, story time, music, and movement during “Circle Time” and “Free Choice,” which gives children the opportunity to make choices about what activity they would like to participate in based on their own interests. Our childhood program focuses on providing enriching learning experiences for young children in our child care center. Our childhood education classes are designed to support their brain development, promote literacy skills, and introduce new math concepts.

Georgia Pre-K

Georgia's Pre-K Program is a lottery funded educational program for Georgia's four year olds to prepare children for Kindergarten. Children four years of age on September 1 of the current school year who are Georgia residents are eligible to attend Georgia's Pre-K Program during this school year.

Before & After School

Get ready for a great start and finish to every school day. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Drop-In Care

We all have our own unique schedules and demands on our time. At The Children’s Courtyard, we recognize that scheduling needs may vary by family—or even by the day. That’s why we offer Drop-In Care: Purchase child care days ahead of time, then use them as needed. Prepaid Flex Care cards are sold in five-day increments and are good for a full year. Once you’ve completed your enrollment paperwork, we just need 48 hours’ notice to reserve a spot for your child.

Whether it’s the early hours before class or winding down after a busy school day, our environment supports academic growth and creative expression. With opportunities to focus on reading, composition, and the creative arts, children can complete homework, explore new interests, and build friendships. Our program includes transportation from local schools and flexible scheduling to support busy families. In this extended learning environment, students gain valuable skills in time management, self-expression, and teamwork. We provide the guidance and encouragement children need to stay on track academically while enjoying hands-on enrichment and structured fun.

Summer Camp

When school’s out for summer, the learning and fun continue at Lake Dow Learning Academy. Our Summer Camp offer an exciting mix of enrichment and play, giving students a productive way to spend their time off while staying active, creative, and engaged. Designed around key areas like composition, creative arts, and physical development, our camps provide hands-on learning experiences and plenty of time for movement and exploration. Each camp is filled with themed activities that keep children curious, social, and motivated to learn. With flexible scheduling and a focus on fun, our Summer Camp give families peace of mind and kids a positive, supportive space to grow. Cedars Summer Camp offers FUN first to every child every day, and your child’s learning will never stop. In additional to an onsite pool and daily swim, our integrated activity approach offers subjects such as Art, Science, Technology and Sports PLUS Neighborhood Time, Team-Building and weekly Themed Events.
