Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program gives children the foundation they need for success in elementary school and beyond. Our curriculum fosters children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth through hands-on learning experiences. Students build strong language, literacy, and math skills, as well as important social-emotional skills such as communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Bright Horizons® recognizes the growing physical, intellectual, and social skills of the increasingly independent school-age child. Eager to achieve socially and academically while expanding their knowledge of the world, 6-12-year olds seek new challenges, close friendships, and increasing responsibilities. Our school break and summer school-age programs have been designed just for them.

Summer Explorations

Summer Explorations at Bright Horizons® has everything under the sun: action-packed days, engaging projects, fun and educational activities, and more. Here, preschoolers (ages 3-5) and school-age children (ages 6-12) will have the opportunity to enjoy what summer has to offer, and our safe environment will give you the peace of mind you need.

Before/After School Care

We offer before and after school care to our local East Hempfield School District schools such as Centerville, St. Leo, Rohrerstown, and Landisville Primary.

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program fosters a strong foundation for academic and personal growth through engaging, hands-on learning across core subjects. Language Development emphasizes verbal communication, story sequencing, rhyming, and participation in discussions, helping students build confidence in speaking and storytelling. Reading Readiness focuses on the relationship between spoken and written words, letter-sound association, sight word recognition, and simple word-building, with opportunities to compose and illustrate stories. In Mathematics, children develop problem-solving and reasoning skills, learn number concepts, explore basic fractions, and understand the value of money. Science introduces the scientific method, concepts of time and weather, and methods of measurement, fostering curiosity about the world and the solar system. Infant Classroom

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need, as well as opportunities to begin learning about the world around them. Our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, celebrates your baby’s natural curiosity within the classroom environment and models how to explore safely. Our infant program for babies aged 6 weeks to 12 months provides a gentle, secure environment tailored to individual needs. We prioritize personalized care, sensory stimulation, and emotional bonding to support healthy development during these precious first steps of life.

Infant Daycare

Infant program offering a physically and emotionally safe place for your baby to explore and learn about the world around them. Shoe-free policy ensures that classrooms are clean and safe for little ones to move around. Daily routine includes time outdoors, group time, and discovery baskets for sensory exploration. Trained teachers spend time cuddling, singing, and reading to your child.

Toddler Daycare

Toddlers are on the go, exploring and learning new things throughout each day. Classrooms are kid-size in design, allowing children to do more things independently, building their self-confidence.
