Our Kindergarten program gives children the foundation they need for success in elementary school and beyond. Our curriculum fosters children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth through hands-on learning experiences. Students build strong language, literacy, and math skills, as well as important social-emotional skills such as communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.

Private Kindergarten

As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. The Gardner School’s private Kindergarten program, available at select locations, offers a full-day, research-based curriculum designed to provide an academic advantage in a nurturing and engaging environment. With smaller class sizes—one teacher for every 15 students—our program ensures personalized instruction and hands-on learning. Using Open Court Reading, students develop independent reading skills through explicit, systematic instruction, while Math Expressions, based on National Science Foundation research, encourages deeper mathematical thinking and problem-solving. The Learning Without Tears curriculum enhances writing, literacy, and digital skills through multi-sensory techniques, fostering well-rounded academic growth. Kindergarteners explore daily lessons in interactive learning centers, applying concepts through real-world, hands-on activities. Technology is seamlessly integrated into the curriculum with educational games and digital exercises on computers and iPads, preparing students for future academic settings. Our teachers follow a detailed curriculum that exceeds state educational requirements, bringing together the fundamentals of education into theme-based lessons that impact the whole child. While educating your child, we reinforce important life skills such as communication, kindness, respect, honesty and sharing. In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Drop-In Care

With our Flex Care program, you can purchase child care days in advance to use, as you need them—all year long. You get reliability and flexibility, and your child gets to experience our proven curriculum in a fun, safe, and secure environment. You can purchase prepaid cards in five-day increments through your school, and each is good for one full year. After completing the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

Before & After Care

Learning and fun continue beyond the school day. Our school-age program, for children ages 5–12, is designed to match children's growing independence and expanding abilities. Students enjoy sports, games, and arts and crafts while forming friendships and working together. A quiet space for homework helps build focus and responsibility, while giving families peace of mind as they balance work and child care.

Summer Camp

Each day at our summer camp is a thrilling new adventure. Campers dive into hands-on activities, from science exploration to creative and performing arts, sports, and games. We offer a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor activities, special guests, and on-campus events. Our camp leaders set a positive example and create a warm, friendly place where every child feels welcome and supported. Your child will gain confidence, learn new skills, and come home eager to tell you all about their day!
