Before & After School Care

Our after school program is designed to nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts® in children ages 5 through 12. Your child can relax, make friends, get homework help and continue to learn while having fun as they explore creative expression, sports, technology, drama, music, games and more.

Summer Adventure Club

Make this the summer of “I did it!” At Summer Adventure Club, your child will explore, play and grow as an athlete, artist, engineer and more through hands-on activities that nurture Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.

Montessori Program

The Montessori method is based upon the observations and discoveries of the first female Italian physician, Dr. Maria Montessori. Her philosophy nurtures the joy of learning in children at an early age, providing a framework in which intellectual and social disciplines coexist. She believed that education is a lifelong process, and it should be an aid to life. Her philosophy was that children learn at their own pace and develop according to their own timetable. Their physical, emotional, psychic, and intellectual abilities are interrelated. Children must have freedom, within clearly defined limits, to develop their full potential. Based on this philosophy, Creative Playrooms Montessori Program provides children with a prepared learning environment that helps them think, organize, and observe. The teacher functions as a guide, aiding children in their choice of developmentally appropriate learning materials. This environment, along with the teacher’s role, distinguishes the Montessori Programs from other educational approaches. Voyagers (5 years old to 12 years old): The Voyagers Classroom is designed to meet the unique needs of school-aged children. Most activities are child-led, which means students focus on their interests and move easily between activities. The children in this classroom get a balance of flexibility and structure—they have the time and space for schoolwork and fun with games, activities, and outside time. School-age children in the Voyagers Classroom will do homework in a quiet area and be provided with help as needed, enjoy learning stations for STEM, sensory explorations, and building challenges, and join in organized outdoor activities (kickball, soccer, tag-related games) plus reading and arts and crafts. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Summer Camp

Voyagers Summer Camp is all about exploring the world around us and learning about people, places, and things that many of us have only seen on TV or in books. Voyagers (campers) have the flexibility to select from a variety of exciting topics that will take them on incredible journeys to far-off destinations where they will learn about people such as Louis Armstrong, places like the Great Wall of China, and things such as the Eiffel Tower!

If you’re looking for safe, reliable before- and after-school care for your school-age children, we have you covered! Our program picks up where your child’s school leaves off. Our engaging teachers will provide fun, hands-on activities that will nurture your child’s growth and development.

Drop-In Care

Our Flex Care program allows you to purchase child care days in advance. That way, you can use them when you need them—all year long. You’ll love the reliability and flexibility, and your child will love our proven early education curriculum and fun, safe, secure environment. Prepaid cards come in five-day increments and can be bought at your school. Each is good for one full year. Once you’ve completed the enrollment paperwork, just call 48 hours in advance to reserve your spot.

Private Kindergarten

As the culmination of our School Readiness Pathway, our Private Kindergarten program offers your child a small class size and big opportunities. The curriculum features award-winning national programs in literacy, math, and handwriting. Physical education, fine arts, social studies, and science and nature are also explored, while we work closely with your child to meet important social-emotional development objectives. Please note: All students must meet the state’s kindergarten entry-age requirement to enroll. Please contact your local school for further details.

In our Before- and After-School Clubhouse for school-age students, we provide a mix of independent and organized activities, education and recreation, plus order and routine for their mornings and afternoons. This program focuses on: daily goal-setting, team-building exercises, healthy physical challenges, homework help, and community projects. We also offer flexible enrollment options to fit your family’s schedule and additional opportunities during school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation. And there may be transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask the director for details.

Infant Classroom

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need, as well as opportunities to begin learning about the world around them. Our proprietary education program, Wonder of Learning™, celebrates your baby’s natural curiosity within the classroom environment and models how to explore safely. Nurturing teachers narrate your baby’s experiences to build a strong foundation in 21st century skills for problem solving and building relationships.

Twos Classroom

In the Twos classroom, patient, caring teachers guide children through playful exploration. They help your little one navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity. Your toddler is constantly learning new things about the world around them. At The Goddard School®, our team is here to work with your little one every day as they play, learn and gain the skills they need to prepare for preschool. Our Wonder of Learning™ education program will immerse your child in literacy, science, arts and math brought together in one activity for a more holistic—and fun—approach to learning.
