School Age Before and After Care

Before and after school program focused on the developmental areas of: creative expression, community, literacy, inquiry-based learning, character development, and executive function. Daily routine includes: time for puzzles and games, science, math and construction, library, and creative arts. Teachers will also provide help with homework. Your child will have the opportunity to start clubs, create projects, and become a junior leader. Program provides daily physical activity and snacks.

Kindergarten in the Montessori Children’s House is a pivotal year where learning comes to life. Summer Camp

This Summer we’ll explore the following “Welcome to the Jungle” themes. Our Summer Camp program offers a variety of field trips, such as visits to local attractions, museums, parks, and other educational and fun destinations. We balance fun with learning, incorporating activities that build skills in areas like teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and physical fitness. Child-to-Staff Ratio: we have low child-to-staff ratio to ensure personalized attention and a safe environment. Our experienced staff go through a safety and supervision training each year to ensure that we maintain the highest safety standards.

This state-funded program is provided at no cost to families, with optional extended hours of care available for an additional cost beyond the standard VPK hours. Within this framework, children are prompted to engage in small peer groups, fostering the exploration, design, and presentation of their projects. Collaboration and communication become the cornerstones of all activities. This approach encourages learners to formulate hypotheses, investigate processes, and draw conclusions, empowering them to articulate and defend ideas, building confidence in their ability to formulate individual opinions and become the authors of their own learning journeys.
