Pre-K

Pre-Kindergarten children at Parker-Chase learn through engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based activities that support cognitive, social, and emotional growth, with lesson plans inspired by their interests and creativity.

Preschool

For any child, preschool education is an essential step on the path to kindergarten. We want the best for your child and that’s why this program focuses on their personal development with customized curriculum and lesson plans to meet their individual developmental needs. In this classroom, children are given an increasing sense of independence, while also learning how to relate to others through large-group activities which are an essential part of the day. Early Preschool

It’s never too early to start preparing your child to be ready for school, and that’s why our parents—and their children—love our Early Preschool classroom. As a stepping stone to Preschool, our Early Preschool program has a unique, indicator-based curriculum, Learn as We Grow™, designed to address the individual learning needs of 30- to 42-month-old children. Primary Classroom

The Primary program is a three-year cycle. It is built on a child-centric philosophy where students learn through self-directed, hands-on exploration. Kids progress at their own pace. Key areas of study: Practical Life, Language, Math, Sensorial, Culture/Geography.

Primary/ Pre-K Community

Our Primary/Pre-K Community for children ages 3–6 provides a rich Montessori-inspired learning environment where children develop independence, kindergarten readiness, critical thinking, and a love of learning through hands-on academics, practical life, cultural studies, and faith-based lessons.

Bridge Classroom

Children in the Bridge classroom are strengthening their self-care skills, growing in their independence and enhancing the skills they need to be successful in a preschool classroom. The Bridge classroom is a purposeful year of preschool prep designed for children with birthdays later in the year or children who may need more time to strengthen self-care skills or social-emotional development. In this classroom, our Wonder of Learning™ education program supports children's independence as they continue to build skills necessary for handwriting and drawing with increased intentionality, learn foundational math concepts and build strong vocabularies.

In our Preschool classroom, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. At The Goddard School®, we recognize that classrooms are made up of many unique children and teachers work to create engaging, innovative, play-based lessons with the interests and needs of every child in mind. Our preschool program is designed to encourage our three-year-olds to develop respect and appreciation for other cultures through our global curriculum, including weekly Spanish classes taught by an experienced bilingual preschool teacher. Children learn language skills through stories, music, and games in an immersive, interactive environment, with a learning program tailored to preschoolers’ unique needs.

Georgia Pre-K

For Four- and Five-Year-Olds Who Reside in Georgia. Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a FREE state lottery-funded educational program for all age-eligible four-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in kindergarten and later school years. The program operates on the regular school system calendar for the length of the school day. The enrollment process involves submitting an enrollment form, birth certificate, utility bill, hospital record, and immunizations. To participate, children must be four years of age on or before September 1 of the school year and must be a resident of Georgia. Proof that a child is age-eligible and is a Georgia resident is required to register for Pre-K.

Four's

Young children are permeable learners, meaning they have the capability to learn many concepts at once. At four years old, our students in the preschool learning program, led by experienced preschool teachers, are getting ready to incorporate all that they are learning at the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional levels in order to make that important transition to kindergarten. Our focus on higher-level thinking within a safe and nurturing learning environment, where students learn to approach problems and attempt new challenges with an “I Can” attitude, means that they can carry these foundational skills with them to kindergarten and beyond.
